The 6 Obverse Dies of 1830
Like the previous year, 1830 saw six obverse dies used in that years production of Half Dimes. Unlike 1829 that used ten reverse dies, 1830 used eight. 14 die marriages are known plus three remarriages, one each for the LM-1, LM-4 and LM-9.
