The obverse will have clash marks from the shield around the ear. A plethora of die cracks abound, starting with the outside points of S-5 and S-6. S-7, S-9, S-10 and S-13 all have die cracks from the rim. Another die crack forms from the ball of the 9 to the rim, and one more connecting S-4 and S-5. The reverse has a die chip at the diagonal and right upright of the N, and another at the diagonal and left upright of the M. Another small die chip starts at the diagonal and right upright of the M.
