1829 LM-13.1 coins are well struck as this was the first use of Obverse 6 and Reverse G. Later strikes show clashing under the right wing and above the eagle's head.

1829 LM-13.2 coins will show clash marks of the ribbon above the date and shield lines around the ear. On the reverse, clash marks are under the right wing and above the eagle's head. Die cracks abound starting with A-2 to rim, from top of R to rim to top of I and down the left side of C. Another die crack forms across the tops of MER, and another forms from the right wing tip to the arrow shaft.
